K.A.M.P. the annual kids event at the Hammer Museum was a huge success! Painters, sculptors, photographers, and other creative pros led inventive workshops and experiences all around the interior courtyard of the Hammer. Kids could create 3D sculptures, paint self-mailed works of art to friends and family, build helicopters that they watched drift from a second story mezzanine to a drop zone below, make their own custom Havianas (sponsored by Scoop NYC – recently opened in Brentwood) and so much more. Inside celebrity parents including Annabeth Gish, Minnie Driver and Will Ferrell, read stories to kids who sat on beanbags in one of the art galleries. All in all a one-of-a kind fantastic creative experience for families! Celebrity parents including Toby Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, Breckin Meyer and Rebecca Gayheart all joined in the fun! To attend next year join the Hammer Museum or at least their email list!
