The Hot Moms Club and Life360 catches up with  Trista Sutter, the original Bachelorette. 

HMC: What is/are your favorite smartphone application/ game or guilty pleasure?  

Trista: Because I am always on it “Twitter”.  I started my obsession because I wanted to keep far-away family in the know with what the kids were up to, but now, on top of that, I love interacting with my fans and using it to learn about the world (I rarely have my TV on except for Dora or The Bachelor!).  

HMC: What photo do you currently have as your screensaver?  

Trista-I’m a self-confessed picture freak, so it’s hard for me to choose, but after a recent visit to Disney World for the first time, my choice was easy.  This was one of our favorite moments there… 

HMC-On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, what would you rank your tech savviness?  

Trista: I definitely am not an expert, but I get by.  I’d say I’m an 8, although I’m sure my husband would say that I’m closer to a 6!  :)

HMC:  What is the longest time you have gone without your smartphone, what is the longest amount of time you think you could or couldn’t go.  

Trista: I have a T-mobile MyTouch 4g Slide.  I WISH I had an iPhone, but we’re still waiting for T-Mobile to carry them!  Realistically speaking, I think I could disappear for a week and be okay! That is of course if I were on a beautiful island with my feet in the sand and a drink in my hand!!  

HMC: What are your thoughts on this season’s Bachelor, Ben, who do you think he should end up with or not choose? AND, how do you feel about this season’s extreme dates? Would you have done some of those things~ ski in a bikini or swim with sharks?  

Trista: I had high hopes for Ben, but after seeing the disregard he has for most of the girls after seeing and hearing about Courtney’s shenanigans, I’m disappointed.  I would love for him to end up with Lindzi as she is my favorite, but as someone who has been in his shoes, he is the only one to know who he has a true connection with.  I’m not really into many extreme sports, in fact I’d pretty much say I’m a wimp, but thought skiing the streets of San Francisco looked like a blast!

HMC:  What charities are you working with or projects are you working on?

Trista: About 2 years ago, I was invited to act as a guest designer for a children’s clothing company.  I jumped at the chance as I’ve always had a passion for design and anything related to little ones.  As a direct sales company, it supports lots of stay-at-home moms and my collection also donates a portion of the proceeds to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  The fashions range from newborn to tween, for both boys and girls and can be found at Vintage Couture.  Just enter your zip and it will connect you with the site for a stylist in your area where you can order online or else hold your own home party with lots of free goodies!  

I also try to support as many causes as possible, most recently including PinkVail on March 3 (which raises money for breast cancer patients who visit Shaw Regional Cancer Center), the American Red Cross where I set up a charity event raising $10,000, an organization called First Descents that offers free adventure camps for young adults with cancer, and Grassroots Soccer, which was started by a friend of ours from Survivor…Ethan Zohn.  Ryan will actually be running the Boston Marathon in his place this year as he is undergoing a stem-cell transplant, and would love financial support through donations.  You can visit Ryan Sutter for details.

HMC: Do you have any fun plans with the kids for spring break this year?  

Trista: We don’t any fun family trips on the books just yet, but are hoping to make it to the beach at some point in the spring.  Winters get long in Colorado (although we wouldn’t have it any other way)!

The series is a sequel to the 1991 best selling John Grisham novel, which was adapted into a cult classicfilm in 1993. Juliette’s new show is set 10 years after the book’s conclusion, and it’s reported that John Grisham oversaw the first couple episodes of filming to ensure he was content with the direction of the show’s development.
